ARTISAN PRODUCTION OF LUXURY CHANDELIERS IN FLORENCE
Euro Lamp Art, in Florence, has been producing lighting since 1975. The company makes chandeliers, wall lights, floor lamps, table lamps and ceiling lights for every setting, together with contemporary furnishings, ranging through Deco, Baroque and Rococo according to taste and need: tables, chairs, wrought-iron mirrors. All pieces are decorated exclusively by hand, often enriched with Swarovski®, Bohemia crystals and Murano glass in a variety of colours, which exert a particular charm and bring the utmost splendour to every room.
What always surprises you when you encounter companies like Eurolampart is that Italy still has a great artistic and artisan tradition, nourished by professionalism, manual skill and heritage, yet able to keep updating itself and seeking new paths.
Behind every successful product there is always the figure of a master, creator and maker at the same time, who, with the invaluable support of a team built and selected over time, conceives, chooses, shapes and assembles materials and forms, deriving from them an object that is by definition “unique”.
Mario Scelfo is one of these masters, and for more than fifty years he has continued to create ever more surprising collections. But, following the noblest tradition of the Florentine art workshop, every master chooses an apprentice to whom to hand down his knowledge. His daughter Laura has thus become the designated heir to her father's mastery, while bringing, as is only right, new technical and formal contributions.
Behind every Eurolampart creation there is a great deal of passion but also a great deal of “profession”: skills that cannot be transferred, because they do not just create a catalogue of objects, but above all express family stories.
There is, of course, the ability to forge metal, but also a strong desire to try, to experiment, sometimes even to take risks, combining materials with different textures and sensibilities.
So lighting pieces are born, but also furnishings, all in wrought iron and decorated exclusively by hand, often enriched with precious crystals and Murano glass. If Eurolampart's original motif, its archetype, seems to be the floral form, new shapes and new lines derive from it almost daily. New materials are combined, from Swarovski crystals to porcelain, from leather to fabrics and costume jewellery.
The secret of a noble and dynamic manufacturer like Eurolampart is its ability to adapt in real time to market demands and to build made-to-measure objects, all characterised by attention to detail and to international quality standards.
This is why all Eurolampart products are CE certified for the European market, while for the US market the company is UL accredited. In homes all over the world, in restaurants, hotels and meeting places, Eurolampart products are recognised as the fruit of Italian excellence and win acclaim and approval at international fairs and exhibitions.
