Sartoria dell’Orso is the result of a friendship, of the desire to grow together, to innovate while keeping the tradition of tailoring alive. Its roots lie in the heart of Brera, Milan’s artistic district, where history, culture and architecture blend seamlessly. It is the neighbourhood’s captivating atmosphere that inspires the philosophy of Sartoria dell’Orso: rooted in tradition yet looking to the future. Quality, elegance and uncompromising Made in Italy are the Atelier’s founding principles, while freshness, innovation and curiosity are what drive its growth.

The client’s wishes are the driving force, the heart of the tailoring house and the tailor’s own source of inspiration; the goal is to evolve together with clients, to surprise them and satisfy them more with every garment. Sartoria dell’Orso has a long tradition of made-to-measure garments – from the most classic and traditional to the most innovative and imaginative. Clients are offered a complete service for every need and request: suits, jackets, overcoats, coats, shirts, trousers, waistcoats and ties.

ABOUT US

Sartoria Dell’Orso was born from its founders’ passion for the tailoring tradition, and from the young, ambitious spirit that drives them to pursue quality and innovation. The skills within the atelier are many and complementary, just like the personalities of its four partners.

The bespoke line also includes garments fully customised in every detail, but made entirely by hand by master tailors, who literally shape the desired garment around the client’s figure. Each garment generally requires two fittings, ensuring it follows and adapts perfectly to the lines of the body, like a soft embrace. At Sartoria dell’Orso you can commission bespoke suits, coats, jackets and trousers.

Matteo holds a degree in Economics and has experience in business consulting and marketing. With his enthusiasm and ambition, he works constantly to bring clients even closer to the growth and innovation of Sartoria Dell'Orso. His outgoing personality makes him skilled at understanding what others desire.

Paolo, also an aesthete with decisive tastes, brings concreteness and order to the group thanks to his organisational skills and determination.

Lorenzo, a doctor who has always been passionate about art and beauty, coordinates the group with his wisdom, teaching the younger members the importance of being willing to put themselves to the test. A lover of elegance and simplicity, he has always been deeply fascinated by the art of tailoring.

Elio, a Master Tailor from Campania with over 50 years of experience in Italy's most important tailoring houses, has always devoted himself to creating entirely hand-sewn garments.

READY-TO-WEAR

Sartoria dell’Orso’s ready-to-wear line includes garments made from patterns designed by our stylists and produced in our workshops in standard sizes. Always made from high-quality fabrics, the garments are ready for delivery, if needed after a final adjustment to the client’s figure.

MADE-TO-MEASURE AND CUSTOMISED

The tailor-made line includes garments that can be fully customised to the client’s taste: we will assist you and, where needed, advise you in choosing the best fabric and its patterns, textures, buttons, lapels and lining style. Made-to-measure garments are crafted by expert tailors with machine stitching and hand finishing. Sartoria dell’Orso’s tailor-made world includes shirts, jackets and trousers, suits, coats and overcoats.

The bespoke line also includes garments fully personalised in every detail, but made entirely by hand by master tailors, who literally shape the desired garment around the client's figure. Two fittings are usually scheduled during the making of each garment, to ensure it follows and adapts perfectly to the lines of the body, like a soft embrace. At Sartoria dell'Orso you can have bespoke suits, coats, jackets and trousers made.
